As is customary on Tristan da Cunha, on the departure of the resident Administrator for a tour overseas, a leading member of the island community, or expatriate officer, is sworn in as Acting Administrator to serve during absence from the island.
Therefore, on 7th May 2019, Sean handed over his administration to Island Treasurer Lorraine Repetto MBE, prior to Sean's departure on MFV Edinburgh later that day.
Sean will be travelling from South Africa to St Helena and later spending time in the UK.
