Friday 13th December 2013 was the last day of term, and the academic year for students and teachers at St Mary's School. A short assembly was held to recognise the achievements of the children over the last term. Miss Julia began by congratulating everyone for a fantastic Christmas concert (see separate report). Prizes for the most award points in each class were awarded. This term the winners were Shannon, Callum, Deanna, Lucas, Connor, April and Sophie. The Endeavour Cup is awarded each term to a student who has worked particularly hard at School. This term April was recognised for her hard work and effort in class and received the Endeavour Cup. Miss Julia concluded the assembly by thanking Miss Rachel for her hard work over the last two years at school and wishing her well at her new job in Tourism. After the assembly, staff and children enjoyed the end of term party with snacks and games. Thank you to everyone who made donations for the party. The children really appreciated it. Everyone left having enjoyed the last day of term and ready for a restful holiday.
