Departure from Tristan

After a busy day getting all the cargo offloaded for a quick turnaround, the following passengers boarded the MFV Lance at about 4:30pm on Saturday 29th June 2024 and she sailed for Cape Town at 8:30pm:

Islanders: George Swain, Chloe Glass, Warren Glass, Andrea Repetto, Douglas & Brenda Swain, Deborah Swain, Judy Green and Iris Green; Non-islanders: Richard Noble (Ovenstone Electrician), Michael Bertram (Chief Operating Officer), and Dr. Silvio Morales Perez (Doctor).

In addition, the following four crew members from the MFV Edinburgh, who have been working in the factory since April, departed on the Lance: David Jermia, Clinton October, Moses Paulus & Xolani Matthews.

Arrival at Tristan

The MFV Lance arrived at Tristan at 7.00pm on Friday 28th June 2024 and passengers came ashore shortly afterwards. Offloading then commenced.

Passengers were: Islanders: Nicky, Emma & Tyler Swain, Allan & Marlene Swain, Linda Green, Patricia Repetto, and Neil Swain. Non-islanders: Philip & Louise Kendall (Administrator); Wynand Van Vuuren (Factory Manager) & Yolanda Sebitloane (Nurse)

Also, four new crew members arrived on the Lance to work in the factory, and will stay until February 2025. They are: Agus Susanto, Ilham Furqon, Mohamad Rifai, & Rokhani.

Departure from Cape Town

The MFV Lance departed Cape Town on Tuesday 18th June 2024 just after 8:00pm.
