St Mary's School students in their new uniforms
Friday 11th September 2026 marked our last day of the second term at St Mary's School. We would like to congratulate the students on their hard work and achievements throughout this term. The students have put in a lot of hard work and effort throughout the term. They worked hard in their lessons, learned new skills and made good progress in their learning. Not only have the students been working hard and have progressed academically, they have also shown kindness, respect and care towards their friends and teachers. These qualities are just as important as their schoolwork. We would also like to thank our teachers for all their hard work, care and support. We are grateful for everything they do to help the students learn and succeed.
During Friday morning in assembly there was a presentation to give prizes to the students with the most awards, and certificates were presented to those who had been working hard in both Tristan Studies and Tristan History. A certificate for endeavor was awarded to one student who had put in a lot effort this term and is always willing to give their best and the House Point Shield was presented to the house that received the most house points this term.

The students as well as the creche children were also gifted with some uniforms, and we say a big THANK YOU to Sammy Swain for organising them. St Mary's School closed for a 2-week holiday on 11th September, and it reopens for an inset day on the 28th September with the students returning on the 29th. We hope that all our students and teachers have a happy and relaxing break. We look forward to seeing everyone on the 29th for another exciting term.
