A reception held on board HMS Belfast (with the CEFAS Endeavour moored alongside) on 18th April was jointly organised by the UK’s maritime agencies. I met DEFRA minister Therese Coffey, thanked her for her department’s help with both Gough and the Blue Belt, and stressed that Tristan’s marine protection must be soundly based on science.
