2021 SA Agulhas II Visit

Report and photos from Randall Repetto

The annual SA Agulhas II visit was very quiet this year due to most of the visitors being workers, although the Tourism Department sent out a programme of activities for the duration of the Agulhas visit to all new comers. Some visitors partook in playing golf and a walk to Queens Mary Peak.

Weather allowed for a day out to Nightingale where visitors enjoyed the local wildlife and hikes about the island. Café da Cunha, located inside of the Tourism Centre, was opened for business with lunches every Wednesday and refreshments were enjoyed by all. Time always passes too quickly and before long the community had to say goodbye to family and friends.
