Return Visit by the Yacht Ronin

Report by Rachel Green with photos by Shirley Squibb and Allspice Yachting

On the morning of Saturday 29th February 2020, the yacht Ronin called in at Tristan on the way back from the Cape2Rio2020 race. She anchored offshore until Sunday, when the lovely weather allowed the crew onboard the yacht to come ashore and experience the island. They were able to visit the local Albatross Bar, the Post Office and Tourism Centre and explore various other places. Later that evening the Atlantic Dawn RIB took the visitors back to their yacht and she set sail to Inaccessible Island where she anchored until Monday. This was their second visit to Tristan da Cunha. Ronin first visited in 2019.
