Departure from Tristan

MFV Edinburgh departed Tristan on Thursday 24th June for Cape Town via Gough Island. Passengers aboard were islander Shaun Green and CTBTO Station Manager Vincent Meni. 

The Edinburgh is scheduled to turn around quickly from Cape Town with a provisional date for the next departure for Tristan of 8th July, although this may be delayed.  Subsequently the Edinburgh is likely to depart Cape Town again probably in the first week of September and the SA Agulhas II will follow on 14th September.

Arrival at Tristan

The MFV Edinburgh arrived early in the morning of 16th June 2021, and passengers and luggage came ashore about 9.30am. No immediate offloading.

Passengers were: Keith & Joanne Green, Stanley Swain, and Jody Squibb; Leon Glass, Stacey-Lee White & Rosslin Behrens; Craig Bergh (Ovenstone), Rev. Margaret & Nicolaas Van den Berg, and Craig Caldwell (Visiting Engineer).
