Recent Yacht Visits to Tristan da Cunha

On Thursday 25th February 2025, the Administrator Philip Kendal spotted 'a random yacht' motoring past the bottom of his garden. The crew did not make contact with the island or land, and her identity is not known. She is of an unusual design - a catamaran with twin masts and wishbone booms. We would be interested to hear from anyone who can identify the vessel.

Another yacht, the Water Dragon, similarly called at Tristan on the 28th February. Although  she did get in radio contact with the island, the crew decided not to land, and she continued her journey.
