On August 6th and 7th the UK's Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs hosted the inaugural meeting of its Working Group to liaise with the Overseas Territories.

Topics covered included the Blue Belt ocean-protection programme, marine litter, and the implications of Brexit for Tristan's lobster exports to the EU.

Tristan UK Representative Chris Carnegy and Environment Policy Officer Stephanie Martin attended. The event was chaired by DEFRA OT lead Piotr Mahey.
