Departure from Tristan

Passengers went on board the MFV Edinburgh at 1.00pm 4th April 2022 and she sailed for Cape Town at 2.30pm. Passengers are: Islanders: James & Felicity Glass; Dean, Anita & Randall Repetto; Ken & Judy Green; Non-islanders: Andy Schofield (RSPB); Aniket Sardana (Vet); Carmen Ferreira (Flax eradication team), and Christiaan Gerber.

Arrival at Tristan

The MFV Edinburgh arrived at Tristan at 09:00am on Monday 28th February 2022. Passengers came ashore at about 10:00am and offloading commenced shortly afterwards. Offloading was completed at about 4:30pm and the ship went off fishing to the outer islands. It was a lovely day, and also a busy fishing day for Tristan islanders.

Passengers were: Islander: Glenda Rogers; Non-islanders: Helene Jaumotte, Philip Mansell & Desiree Repetto, Andy Schofield (RSPB), Aniket Sardana (Vet), Dr. Abigail Paton (New Doctor), and Angela Chikoko & Bernice Murwisi (New Midwife & daughter).

The MFV Edinburgh departed Cape Town in the evening of the 20th February 2022 at the start of her February-April fishing voyage.
